Abstract
In this work, an analysis is given to evaluate the potential risk involved in areas exposed to microwave radiation from radar systems. The study includes the state of the art regarding the hazardous effect of microwave radiation, exposure limits in view of the latest international recommendations and the site information needed to evaluate the safety conditions. A case study is given to demonstrate how to handle similar problems.
