Abstract
This book highlights the recent progress in the applications of FONs as cell imaging and chemosensing agents, and drug delivery systems among others. In the last chapter of this book, the research findings have been summed up, and discussions have been made on the gaps in the research work carried out till now. Attempts have been made by authors to critically analyse the overall research findings in the field of FONs. Besides, the authors have also come up with suggestions for the further improvement of the strategies that researchers may look forward to while going for further research on FONs.
