Abstract
This papers takes a look at two different certification standards of online programs. The first is that of the European Foundation for Quality in E-Learning (EFQUEL's) certification of online programs and courses called ECB-Check. The second is that of the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education and its certification standards for e-learning programs which were delivered by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA). A comparison between the two standards is made.
