Abstract
Conference Title: 2018 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC) Conference Start Date: 2018, Nov. 6 Conference End Date: 2018, Nov. 9 Conference Location: Kyoto, Japan AKa-band $(\pmb{27\sim 40-}\mathbf{GHz)}$ sub-harmonically pumped mixer (SPM) fabricated in l80-nm CMOS technology is demonstrated for 5G mm-wave transceivers in this paper. The proposed SPM is composed of anti-parallel gate-source connected FET diode pair (APDP). The SPM measuring 0.48 $\mathbf{mm}\pmb{{}^{2}}$ demonstrates a conversion-gain response of $\pmb{-16.8\sim-12.4} \ \mathbf{dB}$ for both up- and down-conversion over $\pmb{27\sim 40}\mathbf{GH}_{\mathbf{Z}}$, the required LO frequency from 13.5 to 20 GHz, and a high 2LO-to-RF isolation of $\pmb{60\sim 80}\ \mathbf{dB}$.
