Abstract
In this paper, we propose a low-complexity sensing algorithm based on the generalized likelihood ratio test that satisfy the complexity-performance compromise. The proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the complexity computation of the eigenvalues and enhance outstandingly the detection performance compared to the existing GLRT algorithm. Besides, the cooperative spectrum sensing has proved its efficiency in ameliorating the detection performance. Consequently, we investigate a multi-antenna sensing model based on the employing of a MIMO relay. As a matter of fact, we consider spatially correlated MIMO channels as in practical circumstances. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed low-complexity algorithm compared to the existing GLRT sensing method.
