Abstract
This paper proposes a Nash equilibrium based effective water-filling algorithm for distributed multi input multi output (MIMO) systems in underground tunnel. The proposed water-filling algorithm is based on the conventional water-filling and Nash technique. Specifically, the power allocation scheme for distributed MIMO is obtained using the Nash process. Then the water filling algorithm is modified and applied to underground tunnel systems. The considered tunnel is 200m long with a cross section area of 5x4 square meters. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can enhance the channel capacity of distributed MIMO systems in underground tunnels and overcome the limitations of conventional water-filling algorithm.
