Abstract
Conference Title: 2018 International Conference on Electrical Sciences and Technologies in Maghreb (CISTEM) Conference Start Date: 2018, Oct. 28 Conference End Date: 2018, Oct. 31 Conference Location: Algiers, Algeria Recently, the problem of advanced control design of switched mode DC–DC converters has drawn the attention by several researchers worldwide. In the present work, a new robust controller based Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is proposed in order to control a DC-DC converter. This later is a Combination of Observer-State Feedback (COSF) controller with the PSO optimization algorithm. The proposed controller was tested and compared with two other proposed techniques, Optimized PI (O-PI) and Linear Quadratic (O-LQR) Controllers. The simulation was carried out by means of computational simulations in Matlab/Simulink environment. The obtained results show that the proposed controller exhibits better behavior in terms of settling time, overshoot, robustness, and good tracking.
