Abstract
ECG is a significant key to monitor heart functionality. This signal suffers from different artifact sources such as power line interference and baseline wander. The quality of ECG requires some denoising processes. In this work, four denoising algorithms are applied on real ECG signals that are contaminated with power line interference. These methods are: adaptive filter (LMS and NLMS) and discrete wavelet transform (DWT and SWT). Our experiments reveal that the stationary wavelet transform (SWT) outperforms the other methods. The results of SWT show that an enhancement of the ECG quality signal is successfully done in terms of SNR and MS E
