Conference Title: 2018 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting Conference Start Date: 2018, July 8 Conference End Date: 2018, July 13 Conference Location: Boston, MA, USA The paper presents a robust and systematic strategy for handling the problem of platform modification, which requires a retuning of the antenna designed to cover multiple frequency bands. We show that the key is to design the antenna with multiple arms such that varying the parameters of the arms can systematically retune the antenna in different bands, when such retuning is needed as the geometry of the platform itself is modified by the designer.
