Abstract
We extend the Anstee, Barklem and O'Mara's method (Barklem & O'Mara 1998 and previous papers), developed during the nineties for collisional line broadening by atomic hydrogen, to spectral lines depolarization of neutral atoms by collisions with atomic hydrogen. In the present paper, we present our calculations for p (l = 1) and d (l = 2) atomic levels. We present also our first results for p ionic levels. The depolarization cross-sections and depolarization rates are computed. Our results are compared to chemistry quantum ones when possible.
