Abstract
Conference Title: 2017 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation & USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting Conference Start Date: 2017, July 9 Conference End Date: 2017, July 14 Conference Location: San Diego, CA, USA In this paper, a wearable reconfigurable antenna based on the concept of folded slot antennas is reported. The antenna is designed over Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) to reduce the impedance mismatch due to the presence of human body and also to minimize the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The antenna and AMC surface are designed on a flexible substrate so that the antenna structure can be curved and mounted on human body.
