Abstract
This paper presents a new trend of Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) for wireless communication system apply in Physical Layer (PHY) which is a future for next generation cellular communication systems. The new AMC exploits the dispersion of receives symbols to estimate the bit error rate (BER) of channel state information (CSI) in the current frame and select a suitable modulation scheme for the next frame. The simulation results show that our proposed Adaptive Modulation (AM) scheme approached from the ideal AM scheme and outperforms the fixed modulation (FM) schemes and the threshold AM scheme.
