Abstract

Several practices within various industries are considered as a reflection of the process of supplier selection. In this paper, the technique of the Analytic Network Process (ANP) is presented to show how such a tool can be employed to handle this issue. The case of one of the Middle Eastern electricity companies is discussed. The results indicate that "Financial Stability" is the most important criterion for supplier selection.
