Abstract
Conference Title: 2017 International Conference on Electrical and Computing Technologies and Applications (ICECTA) Conference Start Date: 2017, Nov. 21 Conference End Date: 2017, Nov. 23 Conference Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates In this paper, a security and quality Enhancement on the LSBMR steganography algorithm is proposed. The proposed method is based on preprocessing the secret image in order to reduce the amount of possible bit modifications of the cover image. The main idea of this method is to interleave the secret message randomly in which the probability of LSBMR second case occurrence is maximized which will give better PSNR performance since case 2 doesn't change any bit in the cover image. In addition, another level of security is added since the secret message is randomly interleaved. In order to recover the secret message, the used seed in generating the random interleaver is encrypted then embedded in the cover image. A detailed study and comparison is performed between the proposed method and other spatial domain steganography methods. The comparison is based on PSNR levels and visual assessment.
