Abstract
In this paper, a cyclic loading model is developed by using isotropically hardening yield surface. The model changes its stress origin at the start of every load reversal. From the stress reversal point, it follows the Masing's rule exactly by using the isotropically hardening nonlinear elasto-plastic material behaviour. Existing stress-strain curve from monotonic loading (ML) tests data can be used to formulate the cyclic loading model by this approach. The time dependent creep, relaxation etc. are formulated through the incorporation of "TESRA" model in the definition of the yield surface.
