Abstract
This paper presents analysis, performance of operation, simulation and comparison of various versions of H6 transformer-less inverters when they are employed in photovoltaic systems (PV). The study helps for proper selection of the suitable inverter in practical case. Pulse width modulation (PWM) and selective harmonic elimination (SHE) techniques are applied for each inverter. Inverter conduction losses, LCL filter size, leakage current and electronic components are considered when the comparison between the inverters is carried out.
