Abstract
In recent years, there has been an increasing interest in emergency situations. For example, car accidents, emergency sickness, sport related injuries, physical attacks, etc. When they occur, ambulances or emergency services are always needed so they bring the affected persons to the hospital. The major issue of Emergency Medical Service (EMS) include 1) the exact location of the patient is unknown and it takes a long time to reach him/her 2) first aid is given in a wrong way hence reduced survival chance 3) no AED (Automated External Defibrillator) available which actually is very crucial for survival. Researchers have developed a platform to respond such emergency situations in a more effective manner. The development is made on medical basis i.e. the shortest response time, the right way to give first aid that the patient really needs, and the fastest to reach doctor. Our developed system utilized multiple technologies such as IoT, cloud computing, and web real-time communication in order to obtain medical advices as fast as possible and real time. When system development is completely done, it will be put on trial in Prachinburi province, Thailand. However, the results of this experimental indicate that it can make accurate connection to webcam up to 93% and response time is 13.5 seconds. Video calling resolution is satisfactory i.e. 96% of the connection is correct with only 0.5 second delay. What is surprising is that when multiple lines are connected, delay is slightly increased which is 1.57 seconds and this is a satisfactory result.
