Abstract
Predicting the performance of enrolled students from their personality helps the educational organizations make critical decisions such as identifying promising students, distributing students over schools and departments. This paper will contribute to help the educational organizations' administrators to automatically predict the students' performance through applying some classification algorithm such as ID3 algorithm. Data will be collected from the preparation year of Taibah University students via questionnaire and their Twitter accounts. The results show that over 50% of students' personalities are ISFJ, while the rest distributed among ISFP, ENTJ, and ESFJ. Also, from the generated tree after applying MBTI and ID3 algorithm, students who received ISTJ are the ones who got A+ in their GPA. The most appropriate colleges for them are medical colleges and computer science college. One of the most interesting results that we found was that, the female students in Saudi Arabia still have high concerns about their conservative culture regarding their personal life. The majority of them having two accounts; one for their personal communications with families and friends, and the other for formal usage.
