We report a black TiO2 on nanoporous anodic alumina oxide ( AAO) architecture for improved solar vapor generation. The efficiency reached 85.3% under one sun illumination, corresponding to a vapor generation rate of 1.29 kg/(m(2).h). (C) 2020 The Author(s)
