Abstract
The crystallization behavior of homopolymer Poly(ethylene oxide) PEO and
block copolymer Poly(2-vinyl pyridine)-b-poly(ethylene oxide)
(P2VP-b-PEO) blends was investigated by differential scanning
calorimetry (DSC), polarized optical microscopy (POM), thermogravimetric
analysis (TGA) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Different compositions
of two homopolymer/block copolymer blends were studied. The formation of
the spherulites was observed for the systems in study by POM. A
diminishing of the growing rate of spherulites G (mu m/s) for these
blends can be observed as the copolymer content increases
