Abstract

  Conference Title: 2013 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) Conference Start Date: 2013, June 9 Conference End Date: 2013, June 14 Conference Location: San Jose, CA, USA We report on numerical and experimental results on the influence of cladding ring in hypocycloid-core Kagome HC-PCF. The number of rings has moderate effect on confinement loss whereas strong reduction in bend loss is demonstrated.
