Abstract
The problematic of this article focuses on the prediction and study of the veracity of a loss model (conduction and commutation) in IGBT power modules dedicated to electric vehicle applications. In this paper, a case study based on the experimental calculation of losses by a double pulse circuit and a modeling study based on the use of the circuit solver Pspice. This modeling is based on the only knowledge of the characteristics coming from the specifications of the constructors of the modules. It is then compared to experimental measurements. We aim to verify the veracity of these models and obtain an estimate of losses with sufficient accuracy.
