Abstract
The present article describes the influence of buoyancy ratio on conjugate heat transfer. Porous medium is assumed to be placed inside a square cavity with a solid wall. The size of the solid is varied in porous medium in two steps and its effect is investigated considering buoyancy ratio. It is noted that the flow field has different orientation at larger height of solid having placed at the cavitycentre. (c) 2018 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
