Abstract
Conference Title: 2017 International Conference on Signal Processing and Communication (ICSPC) Conference Start Date: 2017, July 28 Conference End Date: 2017, July 29 Conference Location: Coimbatore, India In this paper, we derive Outage Probability in closed form for a Multi-user Multi-polarized antenna in an uplink communication. The derived expression is generalized and valid for polarized antenna of any polarization order. This analytical expression is then validated through extensive simulations for different system parameters. Moreover, the analysis is used to investigate the effect of various system properties, such as Cross Polarization Discrimination (XPD) and noise variance. Finally, we compared the performance of Dual and Triple Polarized antennas in terms of Outage Probability, which provides us a good measure for the selection of these polarized antennas.
