Abstract
For the case of system identification scenario in a distributed network (where multiple nodes are distributed over a geographical area), each node gathers information to get an estimate of the desired system or parameter by collaborating with other nodes. Incremental adaptive strategies by using Least Mean Square algorithm is one of the simplest algorithm, used for such scenarios. In this paper an incremental mode of cooperation is investigated by using an other algorithm, named optimum error nonlinearity. Like non-distributed environment, optimum error nonlinearity outperforms the standard LMS in the incremental distributed environment. Simulation results are depicted to prove the proposed claims and compared with the outcomes of standard incremental LMS algorithm by using MATLAB software.
