A nearly zero ultra-flattened dispersion shifted photonic crystal fiber with high birefringence and high non-linear property has been proposed. This fiber offers only -0.472 ps/(nmkm) to 0.18 ps/(nm-km) dispersion within the wavebands 1500 nm to 1900 nm with non-linear coefficient 46 W(-1)km(-1) at 1550nm wavelength. Finite element method (FEM) is being used to simulate the fiber design.
