Abstract
The design of the low cost ac susceptometer using closed cycle helium cryostat (CCHC) having He gas exchange sample well is discussed. The problem of higher frequency limitation generally in CCHC has been solved. The sample temperature is varied independently, keeping the coil system at the lowest temperature achieved in the sample well of the CCHC. This increases the bridge sensitivity. The nullification of the offset voltage up to 100 nV is achieved simply sliding the secondary along the primary. The whole systems can be inserted and taken out through the gate valve of the sample well of the CCHC so that it dose not affect the other sample holders for different measurement.
