Abstract
increasing power conversion efficiency of renewable energy technologies is highly demanded in order to increase system reliability and capability in particularly for photovoltaics (PV) systems. Several challenges have addressed that face the performance of such PV systems such as maximum power point tracking (MPPT), operation with unbalanced distribution networks. Nearly, all of the addressed MPPT control algorithms work well with balanced distribution networks. Therefore, these control algorithms deviate to track efficiently the maximum power point of the PV panels. In this paper, a new distributed MPPT has been developed. The developed distributed MPPT is based on three-phase four wires (3P4W) distributed inverter. The proposed inverter has the capability to work as distributed MPPT and grid integration as well. The effectiveness of the proposed inverter has been validated by simulation results with varying shading cases and loading conditions.
