We confirm that the same approach presented in [1, 2, 3, 4] is applicable for the reaction-diffusion problems ("-del center dot(nu(x)del center dot)+eta(x)center dot") with strong heterogeneity in a singular nonconvex domain with Dirichlet boundary condition. An appropriate transmission boundary conditions will be derived, tested and compared numerically with other approaches.
