Abstract

IT strategy is a comprehensive plan that information technology management professionals use to guide their organizations. Executing an IT strategy requires strong IT leadership; the chief information officer (CIO) and chief technology officer (CTO) need to work closely with business, finance and legal departments as well as with other user and stakeholders groups within the organization. This paper is attempts to explain the importance of integrate both IT and business strategies, and the critical success factors and challenges, barriers that may face organization through developing (IT) strategy.
