Abstract
One of the most efficient mechanisms to reduce fading and channel interference is selection diversity that is based on signal to interference ratio (SIR). The system performances of selection combining over correlated Weibull channels in the presence of cochannel interference are analyzed. Dual diversity receiver is operating in a Weibull fading environment. Based on theprevious knowledge of output SIR statistics, the outage probability and the average error probability are derived for different modulations. The numerical simulations support the analysis.
