Abstract

The dynamics of conventional optical solitons possessing the power law nonlinearity is studied under the influence of randomness. This is in addition to deterministic perturbation terms that are due to nonlinear damping and filters. The corresponding Langevin equations are derived by the aid of soliton perturbation theory and analysed.
