A new ELectrostAtic Storage Ring (ELASR) is being built at the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. ELASR was designed to be the core of the new laboratory for atomic and molecular collisions at KACST. ELASR has been assembled, mounted and vacuum-tested. It is currently undergoing commissioning.
