Therefore, the energy consumption becomes an important challenge that must be taken into account when designing a new Ad Hoc routing protocol. An efficient routing protocol should also consider a high level of Quality of Service (QoS) such as the end-to-end delay and the bandwidth as the applications do not have the same requirements. Moreover, avoiding some problems like the congestion problem becomes a necessity in order to enhance the system performance and decrease the energy consumption. In this paper, we propose a new routing protocol for Ad Hoc networks. The main objectives of this protocol are to increase the network lifetime and achieve a high level of QoS by selecting a multi-path that considers the energy constraint, traffic load and QoS requirements in terms of bandwidth and end-to-end delay. To evaluate our proposed protocol, extensive simulations are performed using Network Simulator (NS-2) tool. Simulation results show that our proposed protocol outperforms Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Modified (AODVM) in terms of Network lifetime, Packet delivery ratio and End-to-end delay.
