Abstract

Gold Lighting Localized surface plasmon Nanocomposites Nanoparticles Performance evaluation Photodetectors Sensors Temperature sensors Titanium dioxide UV photodetector
The purpose of the work is to evaluate the performance of titanium dioxide nanoparticles based Ultraviolet photodetector decorated with Au nanoparticles (NPs) under 375 nm wavelength Ultraviolet light and at room temperature. The fabricated device shows an important responsivity about 100A/W. Moreover, it achieved the highest detectivity of 10 14 Jones and high response speed (rise/ decay time of 0.96 s/9.6s).
