Abstract
The research investigates top ten personality traits from top ten best performers for developing new hiring criteria for future hiring program to improve the employee's performance which in return increase company's productivity and profitability. A number of parameters were identified from past literature and used to develop a questionair for existing employees to establish their characteristics strengths. Perfomance of 100 call ceneter employees was evaluated over a period of six months. And the values for each parameter were established for top employees. The same values if included in employee selection tests could provide short listing of better quality employees from the start
