Abstract
Antibiotic misuse is an important factor in the development and spread of antibiotic resistance. Saudi Arabia shows high consumption of antibiotics over the counter accompanied by misuse. A major cause of the antibiotics misuse is the general lack of health education, knowledge and misunderstandings. e-Bug, the European educational resource, in its design, is a tool that could be implemented targeting students at schools. The aim of this paper is to describe the six steps used for curriculum development and how e-Bug could be integrated within the compulsory education in Saudi Arabia as a solution for the problem of antibiotics misuse and resistance.
