Abstract
ERP systems have evolved from the closed-loop Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and, accordingly, manufacturing companies represent the natural environment for their application. However, little research has conducted in the area of evaluating of ERP systems. The need for improved "operability", though, remains and further research is required in this area. This paper built on the literature review by providing useful information regarding evolution of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System in Manufacturing.
