Abstract
Contagious diseases and their intensity have shattered human beings all over the world. Infections due to viruses spread so rapidly that it becomes so hard for nations to deal with them timely and effectively with traditional approaches. There are different sources of these epidemic outbreaks and some regions of the world got more affected against certain types of the epidemic for several reasons. Researchers have investigated different automated techniques for effective and, timely handling of these epidemics. This study summarizes some of the latest approaches adopted in this direction for four major epidemics i.e., Zika, Congo, Dengue, and Corona virus, in recent times. A detailed comparison and discussion of these techniques have been presented along with the future directions.
