Abstract

This project further develops supercritical fluid extraction as an industrial soil remediation process. Heavy metals are removed from sand using CO sub 2 . The effect of the type of complexing ligands, pressure and water content on the extraction efficiency is investigated. Materials: lead (metal), zinc, cadmium, copper and mercury., 7 ref.
