Abstract
The main goal of this study is to characterize isotropic materials by determining the metal's elastic constants such as Modulus of Elasticity, Shear Modulus, and Poisson's Ratio using a large lens-less line focus transducer, proposing a new design of the line focus transducer by manipulating the radius of curvature and validating the proposed design by comparing the results with the industry-standard results. The elastic constants will be derived by utilizing the Time-Resolved method that uses the relationship between the defocus distance and the time difference between the bulk longitudinal wave and the Rayleigh surface wave.
