Abstract
Conference Title: 2018 15th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD) Conference Start Date: 2018, March 19 Conference End Date: 2018, March 22 Conference Location: Yassmine Hammamet, Tunisia Up to now, the problem of designing Fault Tolerant Controllers for the classical integer-order systems has been tackled by several researchers. However, to the best of our knowledge, only few papers dealing with Fault Tolerant Control for fractional-order systems exist in the literature. Motivated by this fact, we present herein a novel Fault Estimation and Fault Tolerant Control scheme for linear fractional-order systems with sensor faults. In one of the similar existing papers in the literature, linear fractional systems, with sensor faults, have been tackled, but without giving any stability analysis. In another paper, the same problem has been investigated for linear interval fractional systems, but that work is inappropriate for linear systems which do not belong to the class of interval systems. In the present paper, these mentioned limitations have been over passed. Here, the Caputo definition of fractional derivatives and the Mittag-Leffler stability in the Lyapunov sense are used. An observer and a convenient adaptation law are exploited to estimate states and faults. In order to validate theoretical results, a numerical simulation example is investigated at the end of the paper.
