Abstract

Conference Title: 2014 Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) Conference Start Date: 2014, June 8 Conference End Date: 2014, June 13 Conference Location: San Jose, CA, USA Strong self-compression of high energy femtosecond laser pulses was experimentally obtained in several hypocycloid-core kagome fibers and under different regimes. By tailoring the fiber properties, the maximum compression-ratio was scaled over 100-600 µJ pulse energies.
