Abstract
Aphis gossypii is the most important aphid species occurring in Saudi Arabia. Seventy one host plant species were recorded belonging to thirty-one plant families. The most common plant families were: Asteraceae (10 species), Malvaceae and Moraceae (6 species each), Cucurbitaceae, Liliaceae, Solanaceae and Verbenaceae (4 species each).
