Abstract
An advanced reflectometry system based on multi-GNSS and multi-receiver configuration is presented for monitoring of tropical storms. The main observations of the rellectometry system are obtained using a forward model that is designed to incorporate the main system elements and to generate the delay Doppler maps (DDM). In addition, inverse problem analysis is conducted to identify system capabilities. Various scenarios are considered corresponding to different satellites and receiver numbers. The potential of the developed system is investigated.
