Abstract
The paper presents an approach to blended learning that enhances the traditional learning environment by augmenting it through emerging technologies in e-learning. Edu-gaming provides the engaging element in learning while role play simulation, in essence, provides the much needed experiential learning. This approach has been implemented at a college in a university in Saudi Arabia. This paper also describes implementation strategies that help the instructors to diversify on the approach to imparting cognitive skills of the Bloom's Taxonomy. Edu-gaming has also been implemented through a group gaming approach which enhances teamwork skills.
