Abstract
This paper reports the results of a study on Self-compacting high early strength grout systems incorporating mineral and chemical admixtures. To arrive at such system the studies were carried out firstly on self-compacting paste systems (water-cement ratio=21.5%) then fine aggregate phase was introduced to make it self-consolidating grout system at w/c ratio of 0.23. The flow level was 30 +/- 1 cm using Hagerman's cone. The parameters studied were flow, strength, and early volume stability. The term early strength means strength at twenty four hours.
The results suggest that inclusion of CaSO4 Modifications in such formulations had significant role in terms of fresh and hardened properties of self-compacting high early strength grout systems.
