Abstract
Authors of papers to research construction feature of high elasticity stress-absorbing band for crack reflection of asphalt overlay on old cement pavement. Adhesion, bleeding and high temperature stability of high elasticity rubber mastics and stress-absorbing band were tested to analyze the mechanism of crack resistance. The result showed that pull strength of high elasticity rubber mastics increased with the raising of construction temperature, adding fiberglass mesh could not improve the adhesion property of rubber mastics. Bleeding of asphalt occurred more easily when stress absorbing band was thicker, advised thickness of the high elasticity stress-absorbing band were less than 5 mm, and stress-absorbing band would not reduce the rutting resistance of asphalt concrete pavement.
