Abstract
In this Paper, privacy preserving of personal data using K-anonymity on hands-an Android Application is developed. Due to vast increase and its usage many people are interested to carry a mobile instead of a lap-top, because mobile is not only confined to audio/video usage but it can also be used for many other purposes like exchange of documents, health, finance information etc., Due to this, whenever some personal information is to be exchanged, or required by a company, researchers, immediately the information should be provided without losing the privacy of personal data. This privacy is provided by anonymizing the data, by using an approach k-anonymity where k-value decides the anonymization level. The result provides k-anonymity protection if information of each person contained in the results cannot from distinguished from at least k-1 individuals whose information also appears in the release.
