Abstract
A producer group should function as a firm and take into consideration the main aspects regarding success of the producer organisation as it is perceived as a people association. Commonly, most of the attention is attached to the functioning of the group as an enterprise; however, the most important is that it is well organised in the form of a people association. Unambiguously described and accepted by everyone as the main aim, the trust and established rules of cooperation are the basic conditions for its success. The future development of wholesale markets, especially in the stock exchange, depends on the previous developments of producer groups. Horizontal integration in the form of rural producers, which can modernise the production process and concentrate on distribution, will help to create a supply of produce exchanges.
